Research from Texas has shown that building wind farms affect the weather in surrounding areas. May be we need to start to re-think!

The Worlds First Straw powered power station: Topic 3.3 : Energy Resources

Have just started to write a vcase study about alternative sustainable energy supplies – I have come across the Elean Straw Powered Power station. I seems that it is the first in the world, which I find a real surprise given the amount of grain straw produced around the world each year. Anyway links below lead to the FACE page about the project which has a great graphic of the process and the page for the company which runs the power station.

Might be an interesting basis for a real life IA concept in sustainable energy!!!!!!!
