Maths and Twitter?

If someone would have told me a year ago, that I was going to have a Twitter account I’d have said ” Well I never !”.

However, I’ve just realized that it could be useful to follow  some mathematicians or being updated on the latest development in different  Maths websites .

How can Maths help me to look after myself and others?

Yes, you can accuse me of plagiarism ! I’ve just re-written one of the basic questions we find in the any MYP Guide in the Areas of interaction section corresponding to Health & Social Education : How can I look after myself and others?

For many teachers that AOI is not a particularly easy one when we want to develop an unit based on it. Generally it is not very common to relate Maths with this Area beyond the use of statistics, but if we dig a little bit in some topics such as the spread of a contagious disease, we will find that there is a good deal of Maths that explains many situations.
