Named, GJ 1214b, it is found around 40 light years from Earth.

Bonding – Topic 4 & 14 – Ionic, Covalent and Metallic bonding

Here is a pretty cool youtube video that your students will probably love -it is quite simplistic though, but not bad for students to view in their own time. You could ask your students to use this as a starting point for explaining (in more depth) about the different types of bonding (maybe for a homework exercise?)

Atomic Orbitals Viewer

This website is pretty useful for helping students to visualise orbitals.

Not dead easy to use ….. you may be better off using it as a demo in a lesson, rather than giving it directly to the students.
