Topic 1: Complexity or Complication
A really nice TED talk by Eric Berlow a systems ecologist exposing the similarity between ecological systems and systems networks elsewhere. By taking a step back and examining the systems from an ecologists view point important information can be extracted, leading to simplicity of understanding.
Links very beautifully with Topic 1 and could be used to integrate Topic 1 almost anywhere in the other 6 Topics
