IA DCP aspects 2 and 3

I would now like to focus on what is required for DCP aspects 2 and 3 from the comments I have collated from the OCC website including subject reports and moderated material.

When processing raw data it is important that a sample calculation is included in the report unless a student carries out the T-test or standard deviation for which programs exist on such things as excel or a scientific calculator such as the Ti83/84. For such examples as these students should clearly highlight the data they are processing and explain the application etc that they used to process the data. I suggest that you revisit scientific procedure and the necessity of another scientist to replicate the experiment in its entirety. From such a standpoint, its not an un-natural progression to give the additional information.

IA DCP Aspect 1
