In March Triple A Learning sent out an invitation to all the Diploma schools and MYP schools on its database. The invite was to take part in a survey on the uses of Information Technology in teaching and learning. Naturally, we used a really neat Web 2.0 application to present, collect and analyze the data – the one we used is called Survey Monkey. We also promised to publish our findings in two reports – one for the DP schools’ responses and the other for the MYP schools’ responses. With a response rate of around 20%, we feel that the data we’ve collected is a very good representation of the uses of IT in teaching and learning in all IB World schools at the secondary level. If you’d like to read our findings, the two reports are accessible by clicking the links below. By the way, the findings from the two surveys are broadly similar.
